Lol. Thanks. This is what message boards are for. To express opinions. I think Shyatt has done a shitty job of managing playing time. We did not have to be this bad this year. Should be at least .500 in conference. Oh, well.

We all knew it was going to be a rebuilding year so why not get your two freshmen with massive potential the most minutes possible? If this season is getting flushed down the crapper then why not flush it while getting the future of the program some meaningful minutes.

So we should have benched Adams this year? He is the only player not going to be around next year so every other player out there has gained and learned for next year by playing the minutes they have gotten. That argument doesn't hold up for me. JJ is still going to be a stud next year.
There have been times during games I have wondered about some substitution patterns but in hindsight I don't think there is any evidence there was better moves to make.

Dude. I'm talking about getting JJ and Naughton into the game as much as possible.
 
There is so much more to deciding playing time than whether a guy is a good player or not. Yes, that plays a big role, but remember coaches have to manage everyone both on and off the court. For all we know, James might have the biggest ego on the planet, and in order to keep it in check, Larry has to limit his minutes. Along that same line, maybe Lieberman has his head on straight and does everything he is asked and Larry rewards that with a little more playing time. Hell, Lieberman is only averaging 2 more minutes a game than James (18.9 - 16.9)

Basically, my point is that Shyatt knows more about basketball and more about the guys on this team than ANYONE on this board. He has proven he knows what he is doing, and I'll let him build his own bridge or burn it.
 
Free throw misses are killing us. JMac is struggling, Josh is looking Awesome as always. Lieberman is doing great. Keep it close for half time and beat these guys 2nd half.
 
Bad end to the half and terrible free throw shooting. If we make half of our missed free throws it would be a one possession game right now. Not going to win shooting free throws like that. Ridiculous , especially at home.

Liebs always looks crazy on lay ups. I think he rushes it a little because he's afraid of it getting blocked

Another team shooting better from 3 than total from the field. Hope they don't pull a Fresno on us
 
Lets go Pokes, need to step it up, Josh has to keep that ankle moving or it will lock up. We need JMac to step up and Lieberman to hit those shots. Herndon and Naughton crash the boards in the second half.
 
One point, Im disappointed that Laramie didn't show up for this game. Your on national TV with CBS, home game, what else is going on in Laramie??? other than the bowling night I read from another poster lol.....
