He isn't winded, he just can't run on it.
 
Well we're shooting bad and we're slow but we have controlled the tempo and we're only down by 2 so while it's not great it sure could be a lot worst.

Nance hasn't been playing like himself since the Fresno State game, He only put up 13 against USU and 10 against UNM.
 
Seems like a lack of spring in their step. Or is it the patchy Espn3 stream? Or are they just tired out like they look?
Pokes lettting them set up well by not putting some pressure in the forecourt on the PG. And seems like substititions not as frequent as when Larry wasn't there. Maybe the assistants know something Larry doesn't.

They do look a little tired. That has to be expected on a two game road trip to UNM and UNLV.
 
Unebelievable how Cooke and Adams can dunk hard enough to win NBA Dunk Contests but miss fucking lay ups.
 
I'm not really sure why you go to Nance for the final shot when he isn't healthy but he had a clean look just missed it.

That was our win and our second this week we've given away. That is absolute horseshit coaching and horeshit execution. I guess thats all we can hope for this year. To be close but never pull it off.

He was still hitting shots even though he wasn't healthy, was getting the best of Birch all night.

Grabau and Adams wouldn't have been terrible options either.
 
Once again, EVERYBODY in the building knew Nance was going to get the last shot....what do they say about the definition of insanity?
