It's not hard to picture the entire fab 5 starting for us as some point. This class addressed all of our need positions and provided athleticism at every spot.

It really is Wyoming's fab 5.

It remains to be seen on the floor, but it really looks like the staff killed it with this class. Size, athleticism and quickness. Two top-20 recruits from talent-rich Florida.

Shyatt is building size (and athleticism) inside at the 4/5, plus a multitude of perimeter players who can fill it up from the arc or take it to the hole effectively. Pick your poison, MWC. Get these kids meshed playing Shyatt team defense and we're going to see some salty play at 7,220 in the years to come.

Great news to come home to tonight. I am seriously jacked about the future of Cowboy hoops.

I saw one site that had Eric Turner listed as the 80th best player in the country and if you add in Austin Conway as rated in the top 100 on some sites also that is two top 100 recruits. Not bad.

Fantastic get for the Pokes.

I don't care about stars or rankings for recruits, I care about offers and this class had 4 players with a host of MWC caliber (A-10, AAC, SEC, etc.) offers and they had them early. That means something.

I also see a trend in the 2014 and 2015 classes towards a higher level of size and athleticism. If the recruits are undersized for their position, then they are extremely athletic (Conway, Moemeka). Otherwise, they bring MWC caliber size to their position. In the frontcourt, Barnes and Naughton have very large frames (we are talking 6'10" 250 type guys as upperclassmen) with Williams bringing a solid combo of size/athleticism. On the wing, they have all been between 6'5" (Gorski, Turner) and 6'7" (James).

I'm with you on the offers. This years class and a several of last years guys had solid offers from a lot of big schools.

About a year ago we knew we needed to get

1. More depth in the post
2. More athleticism
3. Length in the post and on the wings
4. More physical post players
5. Depth at point guard
6. More scorers

We got length, physicality, and athleticism all over the floor. We got speed. We got a couple of solid point guards(maybe the best point rotation in a very long time). We got shooters. We got penetrators. It looks like we got a lot of everything. We got depth.

This addresses a lot of the hard match-ups in the league. SDSU and UNLV are always very long and athletic. They're a tough match-up due to their athleticism, length, and ability. We have the tools to match up with them now.

UNM has had a deep, physical and dominant post recently. Now we have bodies that can match up with that.

This team looks very solid at every spot on the floor.

Welcome aboard, Justin James! Great things are happening with Cowboy basketball. Let's bring home some MWC championships and trips to the Big Dance

Shyatt and his assistants proving you CAN recruit to Wyoming! Crazy good looking group of 2015 commits. I can't wait to see this bunch suit-up. Even more pumped for the start of this season! Basketball is returning to Wyoming in a BIG way!!
