Going to have to start calling him Cap'n JJ based on that pic alone

Yes, it looks like the coaching staff better add Cap'n Crunch to the training table.

Profile - Justin James

Prior to this spring, very few people knew who Justin James was, let alone how good he was. At that time the then 6’5 wing was being very productive in relative obscurity at Port St. Lucie Centennial. A couple of “highlight” videos surfaced on the web but those were taken with a grain or two of salt. Fast forward from March to the end of July, and things have changed dramatically.

Wyoming basketball commits visited Laramie during same fateful week

“I played with those guys that weekend, and I was like, ‘Man, these guys are even more talented than I thought,’" Conway said. "If we continue to work hard and do what we’re supposed to and take coaching like I know we’re going to, we can do some special things up there in Laramie.”

By the time James, Turner, Moemeka and Naughton left campus, Conway felt quietly confident that his recruiting class would soon fill up.

“I felt like as soon as the guys got up there and saw everything, they felt the exact same way that I felt," Conway said. "Once you get on campus and get a feel for what Wyoming is all about with the basketball program, you really get a different outlook on everything.

"It’s like, ‘Wow, this is something amazing.’ I know they felt exactly how I felt, and that’s the reason why they have committed to Wyoming.”

I've got a feeling I'll be on the road a lot from now on till Spring for football & basketball away games and maybe a championship and/or bowl game and NCAA tourney game.

I hope the Pokes make the NCAA Tourney and go to Portland or Seattle for the first/second rounds.

Of course I would just love to see them in the tourney anywhere but somewhere in the PNW would be close for me.

Had a chance to talk to Josh for about 10 minutes on Saturday before the football game. As we head into the new season, let's take a look back at what he did to the hapless sheep, Nevada and Khem Birch. Ready for some hoops.
