MWC Hoops

Currently watching NM vs. CSU and neither look impressive at the moment. Feeling good about our chances

Bajarano is good, though. If we shut him down they got nothin.

Watching us play with no effort and look like dog shit against SJSU I don't like our chances against anyone if we play like this.

Wednesday's early MWC lines..
Wyoming +4.5 at ColoSt >> I'd call this more of a pick'em. WYO

SJSU +14 at AirForce >> SJSU looked much improved against us. If they go with the same strategy, SJSU

UtahSt +2 at FresnoSt >> Fresno State handled the home court against SDSU, should win big. FSU

Nevada +11.5 at UNLV >> Good line. I wouldn't touch this one.

CBSSports.com's Mountain West reset: Could it be a two-bid league?

Teams on track to make the Field of 68: Colorado State, San Diego State

Teams with work to do:
UNLV, Wyoming, New Mexico, Boise State, Utah State

Teams already out, barring a miracle: Nevada, Fresno State, Air Force, San Jose State

Most memorable moment to date: Larry Nance Jr. The guy is good for at least one straight-up obscene highlight per game.

Not sure what either of those teams have done to show they're more "IN" than the pokes have...

Sheep have done mainly mop up duty against teams we've already beaten. SDSU, if they can find some sort of offense, they'll be dangerous.

Sheep Feeling Disrespected (Boo Hoo):

MW men's notebook: Rams back to feeling disrespected by national media

Players admit that media and coaches polls ultimately don’t matter in the grand scheme of things, but after falling at The Pit of all places, they — and coach Larry Eustachy — are a little surprised to see just how far they’d fallen in the eyes of voters.

“We’re 14-1, you know? It doesn’t sound that bad. But then we go from 24 to 33 in the AP — and I know that (stuff) doesn’t matter — but still,” senior guard Daniel Bejarano said.

Maybe they should be a little more worried about Dunk City coming south than their falling stock...They'll be super pissed to see how far they fall after a second loss...

Biggest thing I took from this is that CSU not a great defensive team. So if we can control their offensive game, we should have a great shot.

I'm not sure we can win this one if the score is like the UNLV game.
