I think we will surprise people with a strong showing at Neb, but we will prob drop it in the end, 31-38. 0-1. We blow the doors off Idaho, Who has lost everything from last year and starts with a new coach, 48-13. 1-1. We do not struggle with UNC like we did with CP last year, we win in good ol' fashion, 52-10, 2-1. Our first test of conference, AFA. It is a struggle at the beginning, but then we pull away in the end, 31-21, 3-1. Our road game south will be relatively easy. This Tex St. team has lost a lot of firepower, 38-17, 4-1. We then rest up and prep for a questionable UNM team, 31-20, 5-1. Then we prep for our rival who should be a better team, barring injuries. 41-27, 6-1. California has not been to kind to the Cowboys as of late, and I don't think it will change here. SJSU is loaded on O and has a pretty good D coming back from an 11-2 year. 34-41, 6-2. We will lick our wounds and try to bounce back in Laramie, but fall yet again to Fresno, 24-38, 6-3. We go to the Smurf turf and play the best game we have ever played there, but we fall in the end, 33-37, 6-4. We have the tropic team who will have struggled all year come to the high plains of Laramie for the first time in years. The weather will be an issue and Wyo's O prevails. 41-16, 7-4. Our boys know they are going bowling, but still realize they have one game left. Smith and a lot of the players remember Chuckie Keeton and the Aggies who put up 63 on them a few years ago. NOT AGAIN! There is a reason USU's coach left. Their top RB (1,500+) last year is gone. The majority of their talent at WR/TE is gone! Which means Keeton has to start from scratch. Wyo end on the road with a "W", 28-23, 8-4.
8-4, 5-3 conf. And we go bowling again!
Question mark games (could go either way): AFA, CSU, FSU, USU. That potential for a four game spread in either direction.
Smith will have a banner year, with well over 3,000 yards passing and 500+ yards rushing. Wick and May will have anywhere from 400 to 600 yards rushing. We will have one 1,000+ yard WR for the first time since Bouknight.
Coach will be here longer...
