Another note on Hawaii... I believed they travel to Army a couple weeks before the game in Laramie. That's a long trip and then another one to Wyoming. Going to be tough on them!

There is no way the Pokes should lose to New Mexico, Idaho,or Hawai'i.
They should beat N Colo, but had better not overlook them. Realistically, they could lose to Colo State as well.
So Wyofishing case scenario-3-9.
Pokes might get by Franchione this year-depends on whose JC class is better...and San Jose state has a new coach-he has a loaded team, but maybe he screws the pooch...and perhaps the ghost of Howdy Doody rises up and grants DC a miracle on the mountain....
Beaverpoke case scenario-we go to a bowl at 8-4

Northern Colorado is one of the worst programs in the Big Sky.. last year was their most successful season since becoming an FCS program. Pokes should handle them easily.

Thompson nearly beat AFA by himself....this year he could . I see USU as a toss up only because it is only the road. Same with SJSU. Both lost the only successful coaches they've had in decades. It will make a difference. We beat Fresno because they have never won in Laramie.

This is has been Wyoming football the entire CDC era.......when they win its close, and when they lose its close (for the most part excluding elite teams and terrible OOC games).....it will come down to the small things. Turnovers, injuries, O-Line/D-Line progress (or lack thereof). Wyoming could go anywhere from 4-8 to 9-3 in my mind.
Typically we get a mixed bag and not one full of the other (2011, loss to USU by 49, somehow beats SDSU/AFA on the road). I expect mixed results this year. Maybe a tough loss (Air Force?) along with an unexpected win (Fresno)?

I completely agree with that J-Rod. I predict 8-4 or 9-3 simply because I think we are a deeper team and I feel like with all those close games we have had as we are building this program, one of these years could be a breakout that you see from teams that are in similar spots as we have over these years.J-Rod said:

Catching teams at the right time is crucial. I like getting Nebraska first but hate getting Air Force in September.
It will however be nice weather and a good chance to catch a Pokes road game.
