Coaches Presser 10/12

Sims has to feel he wasted his time rehabbing to come back from injury. I wonder - if Sims got 27 carries in a game, how many yards does he get? I’m guessing it is more than 92.

But rather than give a single QB that many carries, why not at least break it up between QBs?

Taylor doesn't want to ride with anyone other than his handpicked guy? Shocking.

was he handpicked or was he legit just the only option to come here?

Speculating - But also if you spend $800,000 for a guy but the world could find out that the better option was a guy that cost $20,000…you might be better off not letting the world find that out.

Where did the $800k figure come from? The only place I have been able to find it is on this forum

The W&M connection is pretty strong. Does Taylor back him so strongly, possibly to the detriment of the team, if he didn't have a hand in bringing him here?

Same.

Sawvel stated last year to the media he needed $1 million to go buy a QB to bring in. So it sounds very believable to me.

I don't think UW had much over $1M for NIL so my guess he was around $250K but really here nor there because I doubt Sims or Drube are getting any NIL
