Trying to get back on track: Chris, we've got some big shoes to fill and you've got the skill set to help WYO keep improving. Our coaches will help you develop. DC had very little experience coming in but blossomed into a great player and led the nation in dunks his senior year. Of your top choices, I think the staff here at WYO will give you the best chance at the NBA. Please make the trek over to Laramie, don't leave the cowboy state!
Great points. Look at the development of Nance/Cooke, combined with the long history of talented players that Shyatt/Duncan have coached. There is a great opportunity here for a big man to step in and be a primary option from day one while expanding their skill set and training athletically at 7200'.
In addition, among all the great experiences that being a NCAA student athlete can provide, one of the top has to be playing in the NCAA tournament. Another is winning a conference championship. Of his final list of six schools, only one school made the NCAA tourney and only one won a conference title. Fortunately for Mr. Boucher, they were both accomplished by the same team, the Wyoming Cowboys. I would say the decision is easy.
