Yep, this is exactly what we signed up for. The path to a better program has begun....I just hope fans are patient enough to see through it.

Well, player moral went to the shitter 7 to 8 times the past few years. Maybe that is part of the problem. If you can't hold up to practice, you damn sure won't hold up in Boise much less Eugene or East Lansing.
 
meh, players leave every day. I appreciate the ones who stay and get better.

Good hell people, which do you want. I, for one, am TIRED OF LOSING! If we make a few guys leave cause they got hurt feelings, so be it. Chances are, they may here for the wrong reasons anyway. Give me quality players over quantity any day. We have built a culture of losing and it is old.

We lose players every year. Shamwow Gary I miss. Doctson (although a good player), left a puddle of piss behind him. Does anyone really miss Smoody? I do think Pittser would have been perfect for this offense, but whats done is done. Every guy is replacable.

Offenses, more often than not, run a lot of plays, and receivers catch a lot of passes.

The University of Wyoming ran a spread offense the last five seasons. In 2013, the Cowboys averaged 282.4 passing yards per game, and four different receivers caught between 33 and 75 passes.

Madden started 10 games last year and played in 11. I don't think McKenna played at all last year and was a walk-on. His name is already off the roster. I don't think McKenna leaving is that big of a deal as Madden.
 
 
But to be fair, we don't know why they left. If for "personal reasons" ...then best of luck to them. If because they couldn't hack it, then it is what it is.
