Wyoming opens +3 vs. Hawaii

A couple of the Hawaii newspapers have mentioned that their top LB, who is second on the team in tackles, will be out. Gags have been reporting that their RB that was hurt may play, too.

According to a couple of Hawaii fans, Iosefa is not playing. He's done warm ups, and non-contact stuff, but no actual contact practices for him.

That's good for us. I read an article that said their backup RB is just as tough to bring down, but faster in open space. I haven't watched UH play this year, so I don't know if that was a writer blowing smoke or if he's going to be a threat.

Either way, our Dline needs to get to their pocket qb and put him on his back...even if we don't get a "sack". Putting the MT qb on his back like we did in that game really helped our D.

As for Hawaii QB..
-Taylor Graham is expected to start. He was injured for 9 of the 12 games last year because of a shoulder injury (guy had a sling until Spring 2014) midway through last year's Nevada game where Schroeder came in to start the rest of the season. After that he became the "hail mary" passer as in we use him to throw the long ball if we have the ball before half or just to throw at the end of the game. Nobody knows how good he will be in game-time including Hawaii fans, if he will redeem himself like Schroeder did last year (horrible D ruined it). He didn't throw a pass in game-time at tOSU and showed his rust when he came here. When he played our o-line was a mess and WR's were yet to get in sync. Reportedly according to media he has looked more accurate and composed in the pocket so far in practices, moreso than Woolsey.

On Iosefa (starting RB)...
-Don't expect him to see a down, guy is still injured and won't be playing. Expect to see Steven Lakalaka (RS-Soph) this guy is still a good RB who while may not knock over people as much as Iosefa, but has more burst imo hes been playing with an injured shoulder for the last few games but tough's through it. Diocemy St Juste (RS-Soph) is a small speed RB that will likely get reps to rest Lakalaka, and a few of the others behind him.

On Gener (starting LB that was injured in Rice game)...
-Don't expect him back for a month, as he went into surgery for his ankle. Instead you will see Benny Fonua taking his place.

Hawaii's major weakness is speed at the DB spot. If your coach notices it he will likely try to pick on one of them when he is in (Dee Maggitt) who has been picked on many times this year, many times ending in long TD's...
