Wyoming opens +3 vs. Hawaii

Vegas typically gives 3-points for home-field advantage. Hell, might be more for Hawaii considering. But the Pokes will be the slight underdog. In the notes they listed Iosefa as out, which is not what the Hawaii beat writer said. Important factor in this game.

Will be interesting to see the line move this week.

Iosefa is a bruiser at RB and their best weapon on offense. If he's in, it won't be easy for our defense. If he's out, Hawaii's offense may actually go backwards.

Line is now 3 1/2. Just can't take Wyo. in this spot. We have scored only 20 points 1 time this year. Plus, a road game in conference where we travel 3 time zones. Tough spot.

Csewe is +2 at Nevada. I think they got the wrong favorite.

Also, Air farce is +7.5 at Utah state. Utah state getting a lot of respect for the byu win. I'm still in shock over Air force beating Boise st..

The blade man is correct. Scoring will be the problem. So will the "paradise" atmosphere of Hawaii. This aspect is why I favor the team flying in game day and getting right to work. Vacation the following day. I believe this was done in the distant past and it worked.

Depending on what the total ends up being for the Wyo game, I'm seriously considering the UNDER.

Also, Utah St. and Air Force coming off huge rivalry game wins. Let downs both. Wonder how this line will move. I'm looking at AFA to cover.

Makes sense, but I heard on Rivals site that they're flying in on Thursday. They said it was so the team could get used to the time difference. That also makes sense since it would be like the players are playing at 10pm to 1am. I'm going to believe Bohl knows exactly what's best.

Is Hawaii's starting QB playing?

They could be without their QB and RB correct?
God, Hawaii fans hope so. Woolsey is the worst QB at the FBS level...switching to Graham would be bad news for Wyoming.

Basically, Kirkegaard looks like Joe Montana or John Elway compared to Woolsey. AND I'M NOT JOKING!!!!!

Woosley is the starter?

Sadly for Hawaii fans, yep. At yet, Norm is known as a offensive guru.

Try to figure that out! I dare ya!!! As HC, Norm makes CDC look like Bear Bryant or Bill Walsh.

Some coordinators never should be allowed to be head coaches.

I'm with you guys that UH won't be easy. The Rainbow Warriors gave Washington and Oregon State tough games earlier this year, both at home. I think giving us 3 points isn't enough. Not disrespecting us, but the way UH has played so far, Vegas isn't respecting them with the line, IMO.

I think everyone agrees with won't be a give-me. As you have stated, Hawaii is playing well at home. The only thing I was going to add was that same Oregon State team almost lost at CU last weekend.

I think the 3 points is fair. Especially with the unknowns at QB and RB for them.

I respect your opinion, JD.

I'm concerned the offense is ranked in the 90 range. Seems like we're having a tough time scoring points this season. Thus I do not believe 17-20 points is going to win this game. Offense is going to have to move the ball and put up 3 or 7 more frequently than what we've observed. I have a feeling UH's offense is going to bring it.

Going back to the line, as J-Rod pointed out, 3 points are usually for "home field". Take away the 3 points, and Vegas is calling it a push. Do you think UH and UW are two evenly matched teams? I'm not so sure. WYO has been tested by playing two teams ranked in the top ten (at the time of the games). Hawai'i hasn't played a difficult opponent since, I'd say, week 2. Even though we were blown out on both occasions, the kids got to know what it takes to compete at a high level. Overall, I'd say we have a slight edge, and are a slightly superior team. But I guess we'll have to see on the field.

With Iosefa out and Woolsey under center, the 'Bows don't have much to "bring". That being said, their D is for real and the way Kirk's playing and the situation with our o-line, it could be ugly, offensively.

In short, I think both offenses are going to struggle and just don't see this game going over 40 total. Should be a 12-9, or 17-10 kind of game. Looking at potential determining factors- we probably have the better QB, but I don't think he'll get much opportunity to prove it. I think the big difference might be on the sidelines- Chow is not in the same league as Bohl, IMO...

Spread is now up to -4.5 Hawaii. Wonder if Vegas got the news that Woolsey may not start, hence the line movement?

Agreed, but from what I've been seeing, Graham will be starting and Iosefa will be playing.

The total looks to be around 47-48. I'm betting the under on this game and taking Hawaii ML. Hopefully I can pay for a Wyoming win.

The casinos are probably trying to get more money bet on Wyoming.

The right approach IMO.
