I have no idea what you are talking about.
You asked how it happened. He told you how. Is that too difficult to understand?

So, by out recruiting other FCS programs?

In comparison to what? Does he mean that Bohl out recruited other FCS programs at positions listed? If so, that's great but it won't work here. Wyoming will never recruit in the Top 1/2 of FBS, much less top 25 or similar.

This is frustrating I know....but SJSU game is HUGE!!!!! Lose that, and this team may be at risk of going on a 6-game losing streak. Must stay focused.

This is a 3 time national champion coaching staff?
Yes it is.

Any more questions?

How did that happen? Are FCS QB's just not consistently capable of hitting wide open receivers running down the field?

Much better secondary. Slightly better LBs. Better Dline. Much better Oline. Better QB. RBs about equal.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

It's about the players. Bohl succeeded with good recruiting, especially with developing his recruits, very solid defensive coaching, and I would say slightly above average offensive coaching. I thought he may have been able to turn the Poke D around quickly, but this secondary just does not have good enough tacklers. Thought the Dline would be better too. May need 3 years to judge Bohl with his recruits.

So, how about them Cowboys 3 years from now?

I'm willing to give Bohl a few years, but man. I thought the War Daddies would be tougher.
My sentiments exactly. But they are still as soft as they were last year.
Exactly. Thought we'd play disciplined, Tough football.

Going to be a long year...
A VERY long year.

And why is it that after EVERY opening drive, on which we do well, we can't do shit for a long ass time? Why doesn't Vigen call for more screens when it's obvious to everyone, even the blind guy listening to the radio, that the defense is going to blitz?

And what happened to our tackling? We started out doing well with tackling, with our front 7 at least, and then the last few games, the forget how to.

Better fire Bohl to make everybody happy...

Wouldn't do any good. This athletic department is fundamentally broken.
It's not just personnel Bohl inherited, it's a culture and a belief system. We have a new head coach, and, with all the damaged goods DC left us, we're basically starting from scratch.

These are mostly DC's personnel out there, and they played just like DC's personnel coming off a bye week, and, just like DC's personnel especially bad in the second half coming out of the locker room.

Some things, like work ethic, confidence, responsibility, in sum, character, you can't teach. This roster is loaded with the opposite of character.

Better move down to Division III to make everyone happy...

Long term, there is a legitimate discussion regarding the viability of intercollegiate athletics, but in the short term I would rather change leadership at the AD level and see if we could move things forward.

We are the laughingstock of the MWC tonight, and overall. How can that remain acceptable? Year after year after year.

Wick did well, and May got a good TD, but otherwise, I pretty disgusted by this showing against a bad team.

As a comparison.

People were calling for Jerry Kill to be fired after losing his second game at Minnesota to NMSU and his fourth game to NDSU. People thought he was in over his head, much like a number of people here seem to think is the case with Bohl.

Kill went 2-9 Year 1. After the season, still calling for his firing.

My point is that it takes years to build a program up with the right type of student-athletes to be competiive, not weeks. There may be some bad losses along the way, but that shouldn't take anything away from his credentials as a program builder.

Very true, nobody should use this to discount Bohl going forward. Struggles were expected. That said, this is the type of loss that should serve as evidence that Bohl isn't at NDSU anymore! You have weird trips like this in the MW. It's not as easy to win this conference as people make it out to be. Bohl has some learning to do himself.
