Defensively, this is the same thing we have seen all year. None of this is a surprise. Hawaii was favored for a reason. That reason is that we aren't very good.

Much better secondary. Slightly better LBs. Better Dline. Much better Oline. Better QB. RBs about equal.

Hawaii is a much better coached football team than Wyoming. We may occasionally develop one on one opportunities with our WR's down the field using play action and route design, but Hawaii can develop 1 on 0 since our defenders do not know their responsibilities.
 
Absolutely inexcusable!!! Coming off of a bye week and the defense completely shits the bed against Hawaii of all teams. Fucking unbelievable....
 
Secondary should have to swim home....but seriously, why has our defense forgotten how to tackle? What has happened to Eddie? He's been a non-factor all season.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised with our defense this year. It's the same damned defense we had last year. They were one of the worst defenses in the country last year, and they are going to be one of the worst in the nation this year. They are getting smoked by a bad Hawaii team. Basketball can't come soon enough.
 
And sacked. The play calling, coverage, tackling, everything other than Wick getting another 100 yards has been pretty bad. Awful. Basically like last year, but without Brett Smith.

Bingo. Could EASILY be 0-6. Probably should be at least 1-5.
 
Start out well, coax fans into believing...then struggle mid-season heading into the stretch run. Feel like I've read this story before.
