Man oh man if Nance hit that shot at the end of the NM game and Grabau could have hit a 3 at the end of the UNLV game we would be in 2nd with NM!

ItSucksToBeACSURam said:DAMN. Ugly wins are wins just the same but wow. That has to be the worst game we've played all year. Were lucky we played a team having a sh*ttier day than us.
Utah State is the most over-rated team in the conference.NewYorksCowboy said:Played great defensively in the second half....here are my observations
1) SJSU is really bad, when they get confident and hit the three ball they can do some damage, but take the three ball out of the equation and they are bad team at best
2) Hey we survived. Offensively, that was a really bad performance. But it happens. Luckily our defense keeps us in games, and basketball is an offensive and defensive game. Pulled out an 8 point road win with arguably our worst offensive of the year.
3) Don't look to deep into this being a "letdown" . Believe it or not, San Jose State almost beat New Mexico and CSU at home. Plus we are coming off arguably the biggest win we have had in the past decade. We survived on the road, never wilted, missed free throws, missed rebounds, missed WIDE open threes, and came away with a win. I think this "bad" win will help us. We will come out ready to play against Fresno, and then its the border war baby. Lets get it done one game at a time, and see what can happen.
SIDE NOTE: UNLV starting to look real dangerous. Winning on the road in Logan is huge.
Cut the pokes a little slack here. We won, and we just jumped Nevada barring a miracle!
