WYO @ SJSU

Good god this is an ugly performance....I guess if you're going to have a let down theres no better team but damn....

The problem with this game is this - if Wyoming were to lose this, the only way they go to any post season tourney is winning the MWC. A loss here basically would kill their season.....that's how bad SJSU is.

Holy shitty FT shooting, It's good they pulled a bit of a lead late but man some awful FT shooting.

Normally I like to re-watch games butt his will be a game there will be no re-watching this was just plain ugly.

DAMN. Ugly wins are wins just the same but wow. That has to be the worst game we've played all year. Were lucky we played a team having a sh*ttier day than us.

Pokes played ugly but in the end got another road win in the MWC.
Held SJSU to 9 points in the 2nd half.

Time to get up and get ready for the quick turn around and beat Fresno at home!

A true slop-fest. But the 'boys did find a way to get the win. I liked all the steals and blocks, anyway.

If we'd have hit some of those wide open 3's....and they were definitely a different team going to the hoop today, very tentative.

Actually, I felt like we played pretty good D in that 2nd half. As good as we were on D though, we were bad offensively. Some of the turnovers were really disgusting, and we are really lacking a 2nd inside presence to take the some of the load of off Nance and free up our guards.

This was an ugly, ugly game with the ugliest arena void of fans and the ugliest officiating I have seen in a long time. Way to get the road win Pokes.

Played great defensively in the second half....here are my observations

1) SJSU is really bad, when they get confident and hit the three ball they can do some damage, but take the three ball out of the equation and they are bad team at best

2) Hey we survived. Offensively, that was a really bad performance. But it happens. Luckily our defense keeps us in games, and basketball is an offensive and defensive game. Pulled out an 8 point road win with arguably our worst offensive of the year.

3) Don't look to deep into this being a "letdown" . Believe it or not, San Jose State almost beat New Mexico and CSU at home. Plus we are coming off arguably the biggest win we have had in the past decade. We survived on the road, never wilted, missed free throws, missed rebounds, missed WIDE open threes, and came away with a win. I think this "bad" win will help us. We will come out ready to play against Fresno, and then its the border war baby. Lets get it done one game at a time, and see what can happen.

SIDE NOTE: UNLV starting to look real dangerous. Winning on the road in Logan is huge.

Cut the pokes a little slack here. We won, and we just jumped Nevada barring a miracle!
