We just signed our third Safety out of the Transfer Portal. Da' Marion Brownlee, a 6'-1" 203 So. from Missouri Southern.

I thought the offensive side was the one that was going to get the blow torch??

I believe we have actually signed 4 safeties in the portal. This fully tracks with the level of head coaching I’ve seen from Sawvel over the past couple of years. Lose 2 young starting CBs, just go ahead and sign 4 safeties just because.

Brownlee - Missouri Southern


I suppose they slide Brownlee to CB based on his size and speed.
