UW vs. Nevada

Cowboys struggling REALLY bad from 3.

Nance just missed the buzzerbeater...barely.
But that makes them 2/10 from 3.

But Nance's 3 was in and out and in and out, same with one of Grabau's earlier.
The difference between Wyo shooting a good % from 3 is the difference between them winning this game right now.

The need to start hitting 3s!
 
Keys to the 2nd half:
Hit 3's. Get Nance going offensively.
Do both of those and Wyo wins.
Do one of those and it's anyones game.
Don't do either, we start out 0-1
 
Beaver Man -- I partially disagree. What the Pokes need to do is quit fiddle-farting around until the shot clock is down to 15 secs. Get inside! Now! Nevada knows nothing is going to happen until 15 sec. left on the clock. Surprise them, damn it. Pokes, you look boring. Forget the perfect outside shot. Go inside.

Maybe we can agree on something here...get the ball down low into Nance. A lot. Let him go into beast mode, then that opens up the perimeter.
That hits my 2 points of Nance and the 3s.

Yes but he is a good FT shooter, so he will get fouled and score some points that way too.
 
They are definitely keying in on Nance down low and it is opening up 3's but man WHY ISN'T GRANBERRY SHOOTING WIDE OPEN 3'S!?!?!
 
Like I said, its like he's afraid of taking them for some reason. But when he does, he at least hits the rim.

That said, hope Grabau is okay.

Has anyone else noticed how many more off-balance shots our team takes? We wonder why we can't recruit shooters, but we shoot well when we go up square to the basket and not off-balance.
