How about we skip the fucking lecture. What, really, is a message board for, but to share frustrations, ideas, thoughts, celebrations, wins, losses, etc.? If you don't like what is said, go ahead and disagree, but spare us all the mommy / daddy lecture.
My opinion - Wyoming is wasting offensive talent by trying to be Chip Kelly's Oregon. We don't have the O line, experience, and sure don't have the defense to do it right now. And as I said, take away 3 or 4 possessions from SJSU last Saturday, and UW wins.
Share frustrations. You said it, that's what I did. If you don't like it, don't comment.
Wasting offensive talent??? Is there some typo or did you get confused? How the hell is averaging 38 points a game, 290 passing, 230 rushing a game wasting offensive talent? Slowing down their offense and taking away potential big plays is wasting their talent...
Win or lose we have a QB who should have well over 3,000 yards and maybe 30 td passes by years end he may even have 700 yards rushing. Our Soph RB is on the verge of having a big 1,000 yard season himself after the entire offense last year barely ran for 1,000 as a whole! Not only that but he's on pace to break the all time rushing td mark In single season at UW. We have two wideouts who may hit 1,000 yards receiving this year. Rufran and Herron are very capable of hitting that mark. Gentry Ida fresh WR who will prob have over 500 yards rec by years end.
There is absolutely no waste there! We aren't trying to be Oregon, we are Wyoming! We are Brett Smith, Shaun Wick, Robert Herron, Dominic Rufran. We have our own talent and we are utilizing it.
The only thing I will agree o is the defense, but that's not the offenses problem.
