Three Current and Future MWC Teams in the Bottom 10

Now that's a bold, or delusional, perspective.

I don't think the 2 pac rejects are going to be the best conference mates. They went from whipping boy doormats to some eerie false sense of value and superiority.

In stages of grief, they are stuck in denial. Denial that they are nothing more than g6.

So, we are a shitty team in a shitty conference that is about to become even shittier. At least we will have a nice swimming pool and wrestling room.

Could that sentiment be based on the something like 76-124 record in conference play since being included in the MWC?

Even the sacred CB only managed a 37-41 in the MWC, but with him winning nearly half of the games won in MWC in 10 of the 27 years to date of conference play it felt like we had become a conference powerhouse.

Maybe .474 in conference play is enough to say we are doing just fine!

If Sawful wins the next 2 he will be .454 in conference play and right on track to be the next CB! Maybe not such a tall order except I am extremely skeptical Calhoun doesn’t put a pounding on the Pokes in lightening fashion.
I’ll go ahead and assume the bolded part of your post was sarcasm — because if not, your bar for “success” must be buried somewhere under War Memorial’s turf.

My point was pretty simple: if we win a lot, we’ll be fine. There’s no alternate universe where we’re “fine” without winning.

On the flip side, it doesn’t take much imagination to picture what things could look like if we ever won at a Boise-State-type clip — packed stadium, national relevance, people actually excited to follow the team again.

The formula isn’t complicated. We just haven’t come close to solving it in a long time.

I think everything will turn out well if we win. But we have to win
