The Last Time Wyoming Hosted a December Game...

I remember that.

This board was outraged we weren't ranked in the top 25 at the end of the year.

I kept pointing to our out-of-conference schedule.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a few of you old timers that made that game

You kids didn't invent football, you know.

Anyway, it was a fun game.

But, I'll tell you, it was damn pain in the neck to go down to the telegraph office afterwards, and have the guy tap out my thoughts to Wyonation about how we should have won by more, and that our coaches suck and the AD should be fired.

I would assume that they only had one high school back then.

Safe assumption but did that school end up becoming either CCHS or CEHS years later?

Finally broke down and did some research....

Cheyenne Central started in 1904. BTW, Chris LeDoux is an CCHS alumni.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheyenne_Central_High_School

Cheyenne East started in 1960.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheyenne_East_High_School

So I have no idea what happened to this Cheyenne High School UW played in 1902.
