Looking like solid back-to-back recruiting classes. The AA should be rocking in the years to come.

JJ = 2015 cherry on top

Do we have an open scholly? Or will Papa Shy have to over-commit and possibly cut someone or hope someone quits if he wants to try to sign JJ?

And Jeremy down in Denver:

The news out of the Gem City gets better every day. Incredible job of recruiting this year, great job by this staff. The league has got to be wondering what Shyatt and Co are up to.

Man, I am so excited to be a Cowboy fan. The next several years look to be some of the best ever for this program. Props to the staff for the great recruiting job, and for all of these great kids for making a really wise choice. It is a great time to be a Cowboy basketball fan!!!

If Coach Shy is willing to over-commit with a quality final piece to this class , one would think that there is a current player (or two) who need to REALLY step up this year or be faced with little PT moving forward. Decisions and serious discussions to be had by staff and that/those particular player(s).

My :twocents:

I'm really pumped for this upcoming season. Not to be a downer, but we all have to keep in mind that we lose 4 starters after this season. That means that we'll need to see some immediate contribution from some of these young guys. If any of them can be immediate contributors, we'll be in great shape this season and for years to come.

It's been a few years since we've had a major impact freshman. Afam was probably the last one. We need a guy like that to surprise us. We think we know what our team will look like this season and we're excited about it. Imagine if there's a player or two that surprises us with their impact. That could push us over the top.

I think they are willing to oversign due to the amount of transferring that occurs in D1 bball. IT is better to worry about having too many players and making a tough choice than to be scrambling for players. They oversigned last season then had a player transfer and Hankerson become a walkon so we still had to fill one late. I think they oversign cuz chances are we will lose someone after the season.

According to GWG's Tom Lacock, Peters currently holds scholarship offers from Wyoming, USC, San Diego State, San Francisco, Arizona State, Rice, Oregon State, Cal State-Northridge, UTEP, UC-San Diego, UC-Irvine, and Pepperdine.

Peters says that having teammate Jordan Naughton already committed to the Pokes is a big plus for WYO's chances.

Getting closer. Let's hope he makes the correct decision:

Another day, another commitment.
