Sternberg is out.

Yeah but they don't give a shit about a couple of sports forums full of speculation.......... So no surprise that they haven't refuted any allegations.

No, I don't think they're on the boards but it's on the front page of the CST website and reporters have been sitting outside their meeting all morning.

And Chad Baldwin, the university's PR guy, knows what he's doing. He wouldn't have teased a press conference announcing "something big" if he didn't have a reason.

I hope they fire Burman, and DC.
Sternberg is doing specifically (reported) what the Trustees set in motion.
To back peddle now, would resemble what our beloved President is doing this very day....unwinding bad policy.
The time has come to sweep the entire UW back to the turn of the century, back to wagons and lynchings. May solve a few problems and bury the folks that create them.

True That!

So if the ydo fire him do they go ahead and all resign at the same time too. Since they are the ones who hired him just 4 short months ago.

I say we all email everyone of the people on the board of trustees and let them know how much of a piss poor job they are doing.
If the rumors are true, I will indeed be writing to the trustees and letting them know that this is unacceptable. If this is true, I will for the first time be embarrassed to say that I am a student at this university. This decision is so atrocious that I would consider transferring if I didn't only have one year left and I absolutely love it here so that is saying a lot for me.

This is literaly a three ring circus. Meanwhile we have these student atheletes trying to prepare and make us disgruntled fans happy. I feel bad for our guys. Amazing what a difference a few months can make. After Nebraska game we were tlaking about conf title. Now, in Nov, we have fired coaches, possibly replacing head mgmt for the Univ and we will be right back to where we were before.

As a former employee at the University of Wyoming for 32 years, and now retired for a year plus, I applaud President Sternberg’s “housecleaning” abilities and efforts at UW....I believe more should be done until attitude, gratitude and moral levels were what they once use to be.

For the past several years, there has been an excess of non-caring ethical shenanigans from top-level positions down to department heads, faculty and office personnel.

They appear to do what they want, when they want, without regard to the common sense situation at hand ... or for that matter the rules which apply to carry out a responsibility. The everyday UW employee has no voice anymore when overrun by this type of behavioral tomfoolery.

I am not saying that those top officials who recently resigned were not performing their jobs; it’s that the overall feeling on campus is one of angst and flusterment when confronted with frustration ... there are good employees on campus ... many of them, and a concentrated effort of “what’s fair is fair” needs to be implemented.
