Run game?

Team rushing: 58 carries for 124 yards...in two games!!
You can't win many games with no run game. I'm sure Coach Bohl is letting his OC know to get the ground game in gear.

That's because we already exposed Dino's alter, alter ego: KeepitrealWyo. He has to change identities frequently so people don't ban his racist ass.

I've really tempered expectations due to the lack of a run game. I'm not sure if we're going to get to 6 wins. If we do it's going to be on the backs of our D. complete 180 from last year.

Our D is impressive, though. Prosser, Granderson, Maluluulu and Ghiffan have got to be keeping opposing OCs awake a night.

The nice thing is, as long as the defense can keep us within a score, we'll always have the puncher's chance with Josh slinging it...

if we dont have somewhat of a "secret ---pulled outta the skelton closet this weekend" our 1 dimensional offense is gonna get Josh killed this weekend. Sure hope there's a quick fix or we're gonna see a 77-70 final score in a track meet Saturday, I thought we'd be alright this year, but watching the 1st 2 games in person really not all that impressed and it's the same ol same ol at good ol UW, sorry, guess I expected a bit more(unfortunately)

No way the Pokes come anywhere close to 70 or keeping up with Oregon in a shootout. These receivers are not anywhere close to that point.

I was trying to give us "some" credit, then maybe 77-21 sound better LOL

Without a run game, our defense will constantly be out of steam midway through the third from not getting enough rest.

Hard time understanding what is going on with the running game (from a fans perspective clearly) - other than it is basically non-existent:

Milo Hall
Nico Evans
Kellen Overstreet
Mike Green II
Garrett Gardner
Xazavian Valladay
Trey Dorfner

And now Trey Woods

Dafuq!?

I expect (and kinda hope) that 3-4 of those guys transfer out. Way too many bodies seemingly wasting away a scholarship on a team that should be able to recruit some solid RB's

I do t know that they will transfer out but will likely be special teams guys and linebacker depth

It could be inexperience. Neither Milo or Kellen had a carry last year. And Logan and Alfonzo were in high school. They might be two of the best five, but It might take a couple games to get it all figured out.

We have to step up and be some semblance of a running game or it won't be a game after halftime

It's not the backs' fault for the most part in my opinion. The oline is creating no holes and it's hard to blame them when the defense knows exactly what's coming.

pretty much apparent Brian Hill was truly a stud and we are missing him big time, sure wish he woulda complemented Josh this final year, sigh

I still don't understand why Cummins is at left guard. Wasn't rush pretty damn good? So, they're basically saying that Valesquez is better than Rush?

New RT and a RT tackle playing at left guard along with fresh center can't be great for rush offense

I think it has more to do with Cummings inability to pass block(always getting flagged for holding) on the edge and his ability to block in the running game. I don't know if he has the lateral quickness to pass block at tackle. Maybe they moved him inside to keep from getting flagged for holding 3 times a game.
