5 toughest power 4 and group of 5 jobs as ranked by 50 college coaches, personnel staffers, and administrators.

Partial list for those that don't subscribe. Hint: Wyoming is nowhere to be found in the group of 5 list. Not even mentioned as a possibility, and did not even receive a vote. Don't tell Burman or the BOT!

1) Kent State
2) Umass
3) ULM
4) Akron
5) UTEP

Next Tier
6) NMSU
7) Rice
8) Sam Houston
9) Hawai'i
10) Temple

Others receiving votes: FIU, UCONN, Boise, Bowling Green, Oregon State, UAB

Interesting...I think there are a couple things going on here. It's not just "what school is the hardest to win at?" It's combo-ed with "what scholl also has highest expectations?"...Is this just where those lines cross?

Like where those you have big expectations but no institutional support?

The Power 4 list is fraught with that. There are votes for schools like Alabama, LSU, Nebraska. That's just expectations. But there's also Stanford UCLA, Stanford, Northwestern, Cal. Your academic schools. Then you have Purdue, Iowa State, schools with expectations but small fishes in their respective ponds.

Wyoming is not hard to coach at. You make over $1M a year and not have to do a damn thing to earn it. Guaranteed $5M dollars to field some of the worst teams in the program’s history.
