POKES in the Pre-season

Sounds like Muma might be challenging Lloyd to start at inside LB and J' ville likeslike Muma's coverage ability. J'ville also picked up Gipson this week . They seem to like Wyoming players.

Easton Gibbs had a year of eligibility left. He signed with an agent and declared for the draft. He went undrafted and has since been cut by 2 teams.

I hope he lands somewhere. But he could have played another year and collected a decent NIL check.
Gibbs didn't last long with the Steelers

Gibbs was re-signed by Seattle (after waiving him in July). He had 3 tackles in the game.

Welch caught 2 passes for the Browns.

Peasley was 7/11 for only 33 yards but also added 25 yards on 4 carries. I think Peasley ends up on a practice squad somewhere with his play this pre-season.

Crum gave up a direct shot on the Broncos QB. He did not look good against the Packers but played a lot.

He’s protected the ball well and hasn’t forced much. He missed out on that open TD by just sailing the pass to the TE. If the TE had timed his feet better, he might have gotten his feet in. Watched the other Jets QB and felt that Peasley played better. 3rd string on Jets for sure. Tyrod Taylor isn’t a super terrible #2 but he has to be getting old

This may be considered blasphemy, but I never thought he was an overly great player. He was good ( most of the time), but not nfl level. His performance in the bowl game last year was not even good and he had other ‘meh’ performances. I wish him well.

Candidly like most fans I my attention is not generally focus on how a particular offensive lineman is doing. But because Crum is from Wyoming playing for NFL job I tried to pay attention and came away not giving him much of a shot to make the Broncos.

Crum had a couple highlight plays every few games where he would just physically maul someone. And he played to the whistle each snap

Birmingham maybe had a little insight?

I think he will end up on a practice squad. Not sure if that will be in Denver though. Then again, has anyone here paid attention to the Donks O Line the last 5 years? Abysmal.
I think you're probably right. If he can, it'd be better than the ufl.
