Pardon My Take Podcast

Anyone else follow barstool sports, or listen to this podcast? Love the podcast and find them hilarious but they've been killing Josh Allen. For those who haven't listened, its basically 2 guys with satirical takes on all things sports. They've been making fun of how Josh Allen is going to be picked high because his height and rocket arm even thought his completion percentage isn't high. Now they've made a website for Josh

I'm a big fan of PMT and listen loyally. But they don't even pretend to actually know anything about sports. That and making fun of sports media is their entire schtick. Which is a little odd to me because most sports media seems to share their take that Josh Allen actually sucks. Except for Kiper Jr and McShay, which may be where their anti-Allen stuff is coming from.

I guess to be fair it seems like they're making fun of the Kiper's and McShays that have him rated so highly rather than Josh himself. But still it's hard for me not to get defensive when listening.

its all in good fun. big cat has admitted to only watching josh play one time and he lost his bet on WYO so he was pissed.

Josh is also a stoolie. He will eventually go on PMT.

I'm happy he's doing that. People are making fun of him, and rather than moping or being upset about it, he just rolls with the punches. That's a great way to win people over, especially when so many morons are all over and saying how terrible he is. It's making me start hoping for all the other QB picks to fail, even though that's a really petty attitude to have.

I so hope that he's successful to shut all the nay-sayers up, though.

Agree. Not a fan.

Eh, heard they (Grand Avenue Pizza) went out of business.

Your right, I believe today is their last day of business. Too bad, they had decent food and Laramie is in short supply of decent sit down restaurants.
That was their intention, but Tuesday was their last day. They stayed open until their product ran out. There was a mad rush to get one last time in and people ate all the food.

That should have been their promotion, maybe they could stay in business that way lol

Sad to hear. Me and my now wife had many date nights there. But the best damn pizza I have ever had in Wyoming is in Centennial; can't remember the name. After a day of skiing at snowy range, and maybe I was just really hungry, but that pizza was delicious.

Not sure if there's any good pie left in Laradise. I really dug Crowbar when they first opened, but it's been awhile.

Great pizza always starts with fresh dough, not frozen discs....

You guys want some great pizza, head to Burlington Place in Burlington. They do some damn fine pies, and pretty good selection of micro brews in the can.
