Official Bowling Green @ Wyoming game thread

Here's a revised weather forcast for the game:

Temperature - 73 degrees
Scattered clouds with a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms
Winds out of the south at 5 - 10 mph

See you all at the game. Go Pokes!

For this game, this is what I dont get. You had COCKhill run Sween down and dam near ruin him last year over the turnovers. Then Glen says he is gonna give Sween an equal shot at the starting position (and doesnt), then he hangs his hat on Cole and Crum (Crummy if you ask me), then tells his QB's that if they thrown an INT then they are benched. So, we have now come full circle to where we were last year, except that we are relying on a QB that had no DI experience and has shown absolutely NO promise for the future and Glenn is sticking with him. They have given Sween 9 total plays to "prove he can do it" while giving Crum 4 games to show that the game is to fast for him right now. Dont get me wrong, Crum may be a good QB, but right now the game is to fast for him and he needs a year or two to develop. If we have any shot at winning, it will be with Sween or Stutz.

Off to the game and tailgating!! Unfortunately, not in Laramie though. :( Keep us out of towners updated, I'll be following on my phone, I'm sure.

Even when Sween throws a decent pass, the "Brick-hand Boys" do their best to drop it. Something needs to happen to put a spark in these guys. They need to find some sort of identity.....

Wow, that was a very painful game.

In my mind the offensive coaching just isn't there. Yanking the quarterbacks after one INT, especially if it isn't there fault is not a good idea.

Then add in the play of the receivers, either the coaching is really - or the players are just not playing well.

Sween looked the best but he did seem to not be in sync with the receivers, and they couldn't hold on to his throws. He did through an awful pick, and seemed to be at fault on the fumble - but it could have been a fouled up play.

Crum - seemed to be the same as in the last games - no spark

Hedrick - seemed to be in there for his running

Stutzreim - He seems like he still getting used to college ball

Runnings backs - played hard

Offensive line - better

Play calling better - but still at the D2 level at best - whats with running 7 yard plays when you need 10.

Gee, there is still some great match ups remaining on the schedule. Little ol' bump in the road by Bowling Green should be no discouragement. ;)

A little bump in the road?

Oh, we are so screwed over! And I thought the Vic Era was bad! Holy Jesus...........

The turnovers continue to strangle us. I don't think that would have mattered. BGSU was simply the better team and I figured they could get this win. The rotating QB system is a BAD IDEA, I can't think of any team that has ever made it work. We win and lose with 1 guy, period. I stayed for the whole game and cheered on my pokes! I've never been one to leave early.
