N is for Knowledge

I HATE NEBRASKA.

Texas HS footballers with lots of stars.

"I want you...but baby the price is high."

$$$$$$$$$$$$$ from ????

Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Nebraska won't be the best team we play this year in the regular season - probably not even the second best.

True that, good point, hell by seasons end TCU, BSU, AND AFA may prove to be better than Neb,

As far as non-MWC teams go, I actually like Neb. In general I will always root for a team west of the Mississippi over a team east of the Mississippi just because the bias ignorant sportswriters, fans, and university presidents (yeah I'm talking about you Ohio State) keep fueling the fire with ignorant comments. The national championship when they beat the Gators is one of my favorites of all time. Tommy Frazier making the gators look like kids that cant tackle. All sorts of Gators getting carted off the field, I loved it. They will be my favorite team in their new conference, with Iowa a close second, can't stand any of the rest of them, and both my parents are Indiana alumni (like rooting for IU in football is realistic, basketball maybe, but I don't really care about basketball).

For me, it'll be Nebraska and Penn State. Joe Paterno basically is Penn State football.

Kind of wonder what they'll do once he retires/kicks the bucket (whichever comes first) considering he's been there since the 1960s.

He's been coaching at Penn State (assistant coach and later, HC) since 1950, a year after Wyoming's first ever conference championship in football.

College football won't be the same without Joe Paterno.

I don't know, it seemed an easy transition with Bobby Bowden.

Bobby Bowden was forced out at Florida State.....and Paterno is still coaching at Penn State.

Plus he is a strong advocate for the playoff system (especially considering how many of his undefeated teams never got the chance).

Let the cornholes come. Imagine how funny it would be to watch the red horde trudge out of the War after the Pokes score a stunning upset!
