MW is flaming out……

in the tourney. I hope SDSU or USU, or someone can get the conference some money.

The ewes are being brought back to earth - early in this game anyway.

Nevada blew a 9 point half time lead. The sheep were up 8-2 and then got outscored 25-3. The sheep got a 3 pointer by headband Joe and that was their only score in the last 15 minutes. Sorry, but I'm laughing right now.

That Nevada loss could put Alford on the hot-seat, that was bad but the Pack have meltdowns quite often. As for the Sheeeep, we all know that It sux to be a CSU Ram...thank God...lol

Thanx UNLV for moving on in NIT

Irrespective of how our conference mates perform, watching the opening round is depressing. It feels like we are light years away from even being competitive against the 16 seeds with no hope for the future.

Nevada was one of the worst meltdowns ive seen in a long time. Looked like they completely forgot how to play basketball. 99.6% win probability according to ESPN ...

Azteks pull one out against UAB and Lobos get back slapped. Sorry if I'm not super confident in Utah St tonight at this point. Why does the conference crap the bed again?

It’s not a good conference and really has never been one. Crafty non- conference scheduling leads to inflated records and higher NET rankings leading to more teams in the tourney than should be. Other than SDSU’s improbable run last year, the MWC’s NCAAT record has been abysmal.

We are a bad team in a middling conference.

Mountain West teams not named SDSU are 1-13 in the tourney since 2019. The only win being CSU in a play-in game.

Do we have to count the play-in games? I hate that CSU is the conference's saving grace.

Izzo is calling for non P5 teams to not be allowed auto-bids for winning their conference. I guess the SEC commish is calling for the same.

Is there any luckier team than the asstecs in the tourney? It’s been pudsville for them the first two rounds the last two years. The toughest team they’ve played is Dayton the last two years

Utah State looked great against TCU (was at the game in Indy). Purdue looks like a team on a mission.

Purdue is still hot from losing to a 16 seed in the first round last year. They're a wrecking ball this season.

The SEC is a trash men's bball conference. They had 8 teams selected for March Madness, and by the end of the second day, 6 of them were eliminated. LOL.
