Is the Big Sky a reputable conference?
James has had a couple WTF moments, but the kid can score and likes to take it to the hoop.ItSucksToBeACSURam said:Thats a great win for a young team and a young coach! I love the effort. Showing me so far more than I would have expected. Been very impressed with James and Aka Gorski so far this year
And without Adams for most of the game.JimmyDimes said:I'll take the win with a couple of our starters not playing much at all due to foul problems. Solid road win for the Pokes!!!
And got mugged on two point blank dunks without calls. The kid can play, he's going to be special I think. He has had an edge this year that he wants the ball, he wants to lead. I love seeing that from a young kid!LanderPoke said:Road burn! Good game, Pokes. Made me proud
I didn't want to pay $7 to watch the game so I don't really have much of an opinion. Hopefully a replay shows up somewhere. From the radio JJ sounds like all we hoped he would be. A little sloppy, but dang good.
I love the aggression he and Adams show at attacking the rim!ItSucksToBeACSURam said:And got mugged on two point blank dunks without calls.
I like what I've seen from Adams too that's for sure!joshvanklomp said:I love the aggression he and Adams show at attacking the rim!ItSucksToBeACSURam said:And got mugged on two point blank dunks without calls.
Who knows....but there is a current NBA player who grew up and went to HS in Cheyenne. JMac is a decent player too. Utah States all time leading scorer is a Wyoming kid. And Marcus Bailey was Mr. Wyoming about a decade ago.joshvanklomp said:I wanna be as respectful as possible when I say this, but how the heck did Cody Kelley win WY's Gatorade POY award twice? Is that really a good representation of the quality of talent from the state?

I guess the size is the thing that stands out to me. It's weird, but I feel like I'm watching the basketball remake of Rudy when he's out there.NowherePoke said:Obviously JMac had the advantage of being 6" taller than Kelley (maybe more), so I am not necessarily comparing them, just pointing out it is very rare for a Wyoming kid to be a productive D1 player and even more rare for one to do so as an underclassman.
