yeah it was bad for both programs. I feel like the officials should have stepped in and put time on the clock. it was clearly cheating. but...DC was an absolute embarrassment. hard to watch that again....

so glad we have coach Bohl now. I wonder how he would have responded??
 
Was at that game. There is no doubt that injury was faked. It was a slimy move and total chicken shit. One of the few times I actually liked CDC was this rant. Howdy Doody Calhoun deserved to be called out.
 
I've had the opportunity to talk with some of the Academy guys who played that game. They did fake the injury that DC accused them of.

People these days are too dismissive of ethics when it comes to emotional satisfaction...
 
Joe Glenn hated Calhoun too. Believe he turned them in to the NCAA for using metal certs in their helmets that cut up ou h-back at the time ( Wade Betchart maybe?). He was pretty vocal after the game about it as well but was before viral videos.

Calhoun is a pos.

POS you took the words right out of my mouth.
 
One or some of the helmet pad(s)inflates. Metal certs for the spot they fill aren't supposed to be used, should be plastic but I am not sure if that is a rule or not. Memory is fuzzy ( and memories can be fallible) but I remember seeing the jersey and it was shreddded. Anyway it was implied that something on the helmet was altered or sharpened.
 
Wasn't huge DC fan at the end but gotta say, in his shoes and in that moment, my wrong would have been a lot "wronger". I will always respect the flyboys. Calhoun made respecting them a bit more challenging.

Bohl had some words for Howdy Doody tonight after their dlineman dove at our Olinemans knees on the first kneel down play.
Calhoun has his players do shady stuff.
Glenn, DC, and now Bohl have all had issues with Calhoun.
Making the DC rant even more funny in my opinion.
