I will go with the latter. Yes. On paper we should be improved this season.

I'm a Bohl/NDSU fan and have watched you guys the last year. Really hoping he does well. The games I saw last year he did some really good things, it just looked like you guys had no depth whatsoever and your defensive backs did not quite fit the scheme Bohl wants to run. I thought Wyoming had some very good players along the front 7 that were on the first team, just no depth.
I haven't followed your offseason but will watch your games when they are on - I hope to see more depth all the way around, a little stronger unit on the oline that can hold their own throughout the course of the game, and a better TE/FB unit for what Bohl wants to do. The QB doesn't need to be great just needs to have pieces around him and I thought your QB last year did some good things although I'm not sure if he is back.
Correct. He is an enormous upgrade. He's an actual QB. No know of Kirkegaard, he just didnt fit.siouxfan512 said:JohnnySunshine said:ItSucksToBeACSURam said:Can't tell...is this a clown question bro or a legitimate pondering?JohnnySunshine said:Does Wyoming have a better team on paper than last year?

I believe their QB from last year is gone. They now have an FBS transfer from Indiana (Coffman, I believe)

they will try & spread you out & throw the ball around, I suggest dime up on them & make them beat you on the ground with their non existant running game/o line.
if Wyoming doesn't win by 21, then my predication of Wyoming at 8-4 is toast.
lakesbison said:they don't have a returning rb . their senior last year did all the heavy lifting, they are depending on a true freshman & converted linebacker with ZERO fullbacks.
last year Rush Off: Wyoming t77th (FBS) 153.2
UND 103rd (FCS) 116.4 (that was with a senior)

UND’s current depth chart reads true freshman John Santiago at No. 1 running back, followed by converted linebacker Kyle Norberg, a sophomore, at No. 2
UND will be a little unsettled at fullback, as well, against Wyoming. Expected starter Dustin Iverson has to sit the first two games of the season due to a suspension and potential backup Tyler Coyne suffered a season-ending leg injury early in camp.
They wont run on Wyoming, so feel free to load heavy in the secondary. :winky:
You have no clue what you're talking about. Hinojosa was a backup prior to the starter unjuring a knee. He was not the anchor of our defense at all. He had potential and long hair but not a lot in the way of production.lakesbison said:they don't have a returning rb . their senior last year did all the heavy lifting, they are depending on a true freshman & converted linebacker with ZERO fullbacks.

And our rushing stats from last year are skewed because we couldn't pass. Even so, at the end of the year we were really pounding the rock down teams throats. Like 700 yards in the last 3 games.
