Gameday!!

Heading over to the War in just a few... some bloody mary's for breakfast and I'm ready to go! I hope we can keep it close.

Well, we held them scoreless for more than 10 minutes, I'm impressed by that regardless. Let's get some first downs on offense and stay in this game as long as we can!

Defense is going for turnovers big time, and why not? It's kept this game closer than it should be :)
I can't say I'm disappointed with how things are going. We had one good offensive drive, which is one more than I expected. We're winning the turnover battle - and if we can win the turnover battle vs TCU, we SHOULD be able to own CSU in that department.

In my opinion, not a bad performance from Wyoming. You can tell from how vanilla their play calling is, they are saving it for next week.

That's what I was thinking too. Play it safe on offense - although that fumble was pretty bad.
Still, why show CSU what we are going to do?

Why are we saving it for the last game of the season? Why have we not used the entire play book by this time in the season? I think there is nothing new we will do next week that we haven't already done this season in which case CSU already knows what to expect. And if there is something new where were those calls when it was 10-10 in this game and we could have made it a game, or where were those calls against AFA or Utah where they could have made a difference. If we still have plays in the playbook which we have saved the entire season in hopes of the last game then I will be pretty dissappointed. I don't think we should ever sacrafice one game for another, moral victories do nothing for me.

Who are you to know if we have used the whole play book yet? What qualifies you to know anything or pass judgment on this?
When installing a completely new offensive system it usually takes a year or two. You think we have the entire playbook installed yet? I'm sure they are still learning new plays at this point in the season.

You think this would have been any different if we threw 10 more passes?

At 10-10 with 6 minutes left in the half, and we hadn't thrown the ball on 1st or 2nd down, if we would have thrown the ball in the next series rather then running 3 consecutive plays up the middle maybe it would have. Maybe we wouldn't have gone 3 and out and punted for TCU to go score twice more before the half, but enjoy your moral victory.

I'll say it here too. We never punted when the score was 10-10. They scored a kick return TD on our kickoff after tying the game. Our tied game lasted all of 16 seconds clock-wise.
