Indiana St. isn't a good team at all and the fact is we just stand around and shoot 3's and have no inside game so going to be tough first of the year until the youth on our team gets more game time.

We are 2-16 on 3 pointers in the first half.
Ouch

They aren't much better. They are 4-18 from the 3 point line. So together both teams are 6-34

Marshall , James, Adams, Trey need to be on the floor together as all 4 can get to the basket.

Boggles my mind why Shyatt doesn't play Marshall until the 2nd half ever. He is probably the best all around player on the team besides Adams and possibly James.

Because he doesn't play Shyatt defense. Neither does Lieberman, so who knows?

Shyatt mentioned after the last game that he still needs to grasp the concepts Shyatt likes to run. Shyatt may not feel like he's ready.... Which is shocking because McManimal hasn't looked ready all season

Yeah well he plays better than anyone else when he gets on the floor it seems besides Adams. I guess Shyatt will keep him out of the game then. That is too bad. He does really well when he gets out there.

Let's stop and gather all these bricks. Let's build a homeless shelter so maybe your mother has a place to live.
And your sister too. I want your mother and your sister out of my house.

So far our D is probably the most disappointing thing. We don't look as stingy as last year. Our guards have to pick up their D intensity because there are so many of them. Who cares if you get tired, next man up.

First half was pretty darned ugly. 20% from the floor, 12.5% from 3. Apparently we're gonna live and die by the 3 this year as 16 of our 25 shot attempts have been 3's and we've only made 2 of them, with a lot of ugly misses. Also getting outrebounded 28-16 which isn't all that surprising really. I'm not really sure why Barnes starts, plays 2 minutes, and never sees the floor again, he rebounded well while he was in there. Agree with others on wondering why Marshall hasn't seen the floor, we need guys who can attack, or at least aren't afraid to take the shots, even if the shots aren't necessarily falling. Right now seems to me like everyone is terrified to attack or take a shot outside of Adams and James. I'm ok with a few bad shots from James because I think in time he'll make enough of them to make them good shots, and if no one else wants to be a threat on the offensive end, then I'm plumb fine with letting the freshman work.
They're keying on Adams and right now we have no other threat.

I'm a fan of Marshall, but he did look a little lost a few times in the game against Bristol. With that said, I don't see many guys doing things right so far this game. I think the team could use his physicality and energy in the second half.

Anyone else hate our offense? I do! piss it around the perimeter and jack a contested three. Disgusting

Yeah. I wouldn't mind them shooting a lot of 3's if they were also attacking the basket but they just stand out there and shoot 3's the whole time. Tough to win that way.

Agreed. It looks like a shitty open gym huck up at times.

I've always disliked it but never said to much about it because I trust Shyatt and what he's doing, but that being said, I sure think this team is geared to be uptempo with our size and guard heaviness. I'll take pull-up 3's in transition all day because those are good open looks that can get the proverbial lid off the basket, however in general Shyatt teams historically slow it down and pull it out to run offense. We'll see what the 2nd half shows us, but we gotta do something different offensively.

Barnes needs to set better screens and Adams needs to set his guy up better. These on ball screens are worthless haha
