Coach Shy definitely knows what Joe Scott will have his DU team trying to do against us. I doubt that our freshmen know what is coming even though our coaches have tried to prepare them. Adams, McManamen, Washington, and Herndon have all seen it before (even Gorski & Lieberman), so they know what to expect. You know what is coming, but it is still hard to defend. They are a very disciplined team.
The Princeton offense is an extremely frustrating offense to defend, especially when run as well as DU runs it.
To defend it adequately, it requires all five guys to play nearly perfect defense for the full 30 second shot clock. One small breakdown by a single player and DU will be sure to exploit it. There is nothing more demoralizing as a young player than playing great defense for 25 seconds only to see the other team get a wide open 3 or lay-up in the last five seconds of the shot clock.
Should be a great learning experience for the guys. A win would be a very pleasant surprise.

Been using one, and it does not do well with ice and snow. And a major issue is sitting, as I need to keep my foot up. The seats there, even handicap, are not designed for that.WestWYOPoke said:fromolwyoming said:

Sounding like our D has come leaps and bounds. That zone has tightened up nicely. I'm guessing we're gonna get homered pretty hard on calls tonight so we need to pull away a little bit.

Defense looks on point tonight. Got hurt by a couple low post misses but other than that they look ready. Now if only our offense hadn't stalled out...

Only listening to it, but seems like we've played pretty well minus turnovers. 11 turnovers in the first half to DU's 4. Feel lucky to be ahead with that stat! Hope we clean it up in the 2nd half.
