DU game tonight

It's encouraging to see them playing this well even when Adams can't make a jump shot. Also, great free throw shooting!
 
This is a really good road win for a younger team.

Huge improvement the last couple of games by Herndon. Great job defensively by everyone.

This is my first time watching them this year. Winning in Denver is not easy. Adams and Herndon with great games and a solid defensive effort. This team is really improving as it goes. Great job Pokes!

I still see him listed as questionable on the injury reports so maybe he is still having problems with his ankle?

Season started a few weeks ago Fonz. As far as the rest of that.....huh?!?
 
For those who watched the game and didn't have to listen to it on the radio, how did Denver look? They're usually a tough team to beat. This is a good win, but did Denver play poorly?
 
Pretty impressed with the pokes in this one! Faced some adversity and came through super strong the last 6 or so minutes to put it away! Great experience for the youngsters!
 
I followed on gametracker so didn't get to watch but they basicly won it in the last 4 mins only allowed 6 points or something like that. Did the defense look good last few mins of the game? Nice box score on our guys. Is washington injured?

They missed a lot of shots but had very few open looks. Thought the Pokes played fantastic defense
 
Really nice win for the kids tonight. I don't think Shy has ever beaten DU in their house, so props to the coaching staff as well on a solid win. DU is a good team, and beating them in their building is not an easy task. The kids are starting to figure this out. We'll have more ups and downs as the season progresses, but boy the future looks bright. Well done Pokes!!

Denver wasn't hitting the shots they normally do at Magnus, but a lot of that was due to Wyoming's D. The young Pokes have made a drastic improvement on defense from their first game til now. Denver is still a tough team to play and they were playing good D too. Aside from some sloppy passes, the Pokes were making great passes to get open shots. And, knocking them down. Justin James is going to be good...but so are a few other guys. Gorski was spot on and has a great shot. And Herndon is getting more confident.

Nice win.

We haven't won there since 2001. Good win!
 
I'm very impressed with the athleticism of this team. Surprised Barnes isn't playing more. He's got a huge upside, big and athletic. It will be interesting to see how the minutes get distributed once the conference starts. Hope we get a big turnout for Cal. Saturday.
