Babers would be a pretty good hire IMO. He has turned EIU from a mediocre program to the #2 team in only two years.

I am not sure it has anything to do with loyalty. There are those of us who are tired of settling for mediocrity. As a life long poke fan and a contributer to CJC it makes me sick that our university has NO interest in getting better or being competitive. I will go to my grave being a rabid, coolaid drinking, sunshine pumping cowboy fan. That doesn't I can't complain and bitch and piss and moan or disagree with decisions made by the buffoons running the university.

So I'm not entitled to have reached my breaking point? This is just a calculation of emotional and financial investment. My Wyoming fandom is a black hole sucking money and psychic health away from me. I've had two good things in my adult fandom happen. Beating BYU at home in 1999. Baily and Uche making the Dance. That's it. I graduated a decade ago after going to school in my late 20s. I've been a season ticket holder and donor every year since.
