Will the border war continue after this season?

With the spring game completed and fall camp just around the corner, its time to take a look at the CSU Rams 2025 football campaign. Rams have a lot of returning talent on offense and will need to revamp the defense. Key returnees, new transfers, recruiting, and predictions.

Not watching and don’t give a about CSU’s team. The question is extremely dumb though because Wyoming and csu signed a scheduling agreement last November.

Continued at least through 2035. Wyoming is a rural state and save for the Denver Metro is surrounded by other rural states. The Border War needs to continue not just for fan engagement but even more so for recruiting. Colorado and specifically the Denver Metro is a very important recruiting area for Wyoming athletics.

I don't think the Border war should continue after this season. The game loses a lot of significance when the teams are not in the same conference. The game will always be early in the season. Part of the fun was the crazy weather in November and the importance of beating a conference rival. Playing csewe in Sept. in hot weather just doesn't sound very appealing. It's time to move on and look for new regional rivals. They are as dead to me as byu.

I hope nothing but disappointment and misery follow CSEwe, its fanbase, its students, its athletes, and its conference. I never thought I could despise them more - but then they pulled a Brutus and stabbed us in the back. May they and all future Sheep rot - now and always.

I completely agree. Plus, on the occasion that CSU wins a game, the smug, conceited attitude will be too much to handle. Can you imagine the comments? I'd be so ashamed...not good enough to get an invite AND get beat...just too much. Yeah, it would be sweet to play them and ruin any chance of a dominant season but they could end up "owning" us for years to come. What a horrible thought that never occurred to Tom Burman.
