Cheering for Wyoming to lose

I can't cheer against them no matter how hard I try, but if everyone thinks the answer is get rid of the coach, then we're right back to rebuild mode, argh we just can't win for losing.....maybe it truly is time to drop to FCS, i mean why not, we'd be a bit more competitive. I just don't know but it' s hard to root against my Pokes

I swear DC took us to a bowl in this first year. Firing a coach does not lead to rebuilding. We have some talent on the team....just need them to get coach up a little.

Wait a minute, so in the past five years, the reason we come out of the half time locker room flat and can't play a complete game is because of the talent? Even though it's pretty much cycled through? It's not someone's inability to make adjustments or inspire and motivate the players or their inability to get anything resembling defensive production.

There's an irony to it being a great film despite it being really, really bad at depicting much factual about Vietnam and deviating hugely from the source material. Not to mention all adversity and cost and time overruns. Crazy film about the absurdity of subjective morality...

It's a great movie about the absurdity of ANY war really. But watching it makes you wonder one thing.....how much marijuana were the writers smoking when they wrote the script? LOL

Not to get on a political soapbox here but I find it totally stupid how in most states (CO & WA) marijuana is illegal and yet smoking a tobacco cigarette is legal and it does more harm?!

I think the movie kind of misses as an "anti-war" vehicle. It's more about the absurdity of morality in the context of war. Many wars are morally justifiable, but the moral justification of abandoning some morals while clinging to others is what becomes absurd. Especially when one sees the toll that the "moral prosecution" of a war takes on its own side against an enemy who recognizes none in its own prosecution of the same.

It's a fractal subject- the microcosm (subjective prosecution) is in conflict with the macrocosm (objective success). The model fails.

But he only reverts to those after his initial attacks on people. That's not witty, that's hiding behind wit after he realized he was slapped in the face due to his bashing. I read Beav stating his opinion. I then read Wyovanian bash Beav, calling him two faced and speaking out of both sides of his mouth. Wyovanian should expect a punch square in the nose with Beav's words.
