Fire the o coordinator . He freaking sucks

At Wyoming, unless you are winning conference championships or performing a Koenning level collapse, fans will sort of see what they want to see in the coaches. Do you like high flying offense? You probably don't like coaches like Bohl ... Maybe you like toughness and culture?...then you probably do like coaches like Bohl. Now, is one of those things inherently more important to winning? I don't think you get championships without both...but I think if you focus on one to the detriment of the other (as PorkerPoke implies), then the record Bohl achieved is probably the ceiling. The better question is: Do you have to choose?...I honestly thing that Wyoming and schools like Wyoming do have to choose. They are resource starved and have to decide what to focus on. For my money, I favor the Bohl approach. Football programs that have success that lasts more than one season have an identity and a toughness to them that is easy to lose and hard to build/maintain.
The reality is C. Bohl type Coach is no longer the ceiling as the new era requires deep pockets. The President & AD have to get the OIL & GAS Sponsorships yesterday. The only way the get a quality national search and outside hire that can win is with more money.... That is why they hired Jay Sawvel. The problem is they tried to get an outside OC to shut the fans up and did not have the money except for who they got.

Going to be a few interesting years on the High Plains!

Not to get down on the players but a qb and pass protection would help. Anderson could have spiked every ball and had a higher qb rating against Utah (not kidding)

Well... If it's just pay to win, I'm not holding my breath for good results any time soon.

Why does it feel like the only 2 options mentioned for offense is the Bohl offense and the spread offense? Fans seem to think it is the run run incomplete pass punt offense of Bohl with the hope to wear down the team in the 4th quarter or otherwise the only difference would be the Mike Leach pass every down spread offense. There are offensive schemes in between the 2. Bohl absolutely could have adjusted his scheme to fit his players without going to a spread offense, he just didn't.

Totally agree! He did it at NDSU. He was able to do it in 2016 with good WR’s and a QB that was a better bet to complete a pass while being a threat to run. He just never seemed to pursue a QB with more than one skill and any defense that was stronger kept the box loaded while effectively playing man coverage. The best pass play was a 3 yard pass to the sideline which was not effective on 3rd and 6 plays.
