I dunno. I don't think either team looked too bad. Boring? Yes. I don't think Akron is a glorified high school team and I don't think Wyoming is an Alabama. Both teams had solid defenses. The team that took the field for the ASU opener (ahem...Wyoming) last year was much more high school team than either Wyoming or Akron proved to be this year. Both teams are going to win some games this year.

Judging from the highlight video, I'd say it looked like a first-game performance for both teams. But the Pokes were clearly the better team.
