Re: Conference schedule announced
like 10 years ago, Tim Miles and Kowalcyk at CSU teamed up and put in a lot of time on their home nonconference schedule. They looked at the teams they were scheduling schedules (all midmajor programs) to determine how that would affect those programs RPI and CSU's subsequent RPI. Then they had to w...

Re: Conference schedule announced
The nonconference schedule also just got announced. The home schedule is really bad. There are some big sky schools, some random low level DI schools and Drake. If we are going to pay people these type of salaries they really should play competition where coaches and administrators receive similar s...

Re: Pine Bluffs 50 game winning streak and counting
we had two historically significant upsets this weekend. Wind River's win stopped Hunter Thompson from winning back to back titles and ended a 50 game winning streak. Thompson had phenomenal prep career. He will go down as one of the top 10 players in Wyoming High School bball history. Then Lyman up...

MWC Basketball = Sucky
Mountain west basketball just not what it was: http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bubblewatch You will see the lowest attendance ever at this MWC basketball tournament. Without UNM, Wyoming and SDSU being NCAA tournament type teams. In fact no one has a program that is NCAA tournament worth...

Re: Rescheduling Utah
For fans on the westside of the state, Salt Lake is a nice weekend. Restaurants, shopping, take in another event go to game. USU doesn't offer the same amenities. I think the powers that be don't really care about anything besides being on television so I don't see games with the utes in the future ...

Re: The Montana rematch
Kelley looked lost the first part of the season, he seems to be getting some confidence. I know he can play at this level. He's a freshman he needs some time and have few shots go in hopefully that is happening.

Re: Win and they will come
you have a multitude of factors. A) it's November, generally it's colder in November. People don't want to drive 3 hours to sit in what is usually a cold time of the year B) It's been so long since Wyoming had a decent team like this that many of the people that were previous supporters have died or...

Re: Rock Springs' Kelby Kramer commits to Montana
you can't coach height. And he's got that. He kept getting better even during the season, so you can see that he has more upside than really any other player in the state. Be interesting to see how much he improved from last year to this year over the summer months. I think he got offered by Wyoming...

Re: Tevis Bartlett
Washington, beautiful setting, beautiful campus. Don't forget the Chris Peterson factor. Peterson is rapidly proving to be the best coach outside of Saban and Meyer. Chance to get into some really huge games in great environments. The games Washington is starting to play on a weekly basis make Wyomi...

Missouri Valley Option
Given the downturn in the economy, Wyoming's lack of ability to compete at FBS football and the fact that the MWC is on the outside looking in on the college football playoff anyway, I really think Wyoming should look at moving to the Missouri Valley Conference. Competitive basketball against top co...
