Did we recruit him at all? I think we were more focused on Thompson. Who knows, in a couple of years it could be a Daum/Barnes situation all over again, but a lot of other basketball coaches think highly of Thompson. Not to take anything away from Kelby, he is a great young man, but Thompson better be a whole lot better or we just waisted a scholly. Kelby, might turn into a great player, but right now he is nowhere near a D1 player. To me, he is a Matt Sellers type of a player....

you can't coach height. And he's got that. He kept getting better even during the season, so you can see that he has more upside than really any other player in the state. Be interesting to see how much he improved from last year to this year over the summer months. I think he got offered by Wyoming too.
