Wyoming vs Houston Thread

Hopefully the results of this overtime are better than our last OT. Hopefully those missed free throws by JMac don't come back to haunt us.

Love the toughness this team has showed tonight. Now get this damn win.

All Houston does is take 3 point shots every time down.
You'd think we'd make it a point of emphasis to actually defend the 3

Main thing we need to do is rebound their misses. THey have missed a ton of them.

Wyoming playing hard as heck tonight. Would be nice for them to pull this out.

Double Overtime coming up.

Have to give Props to Naughton and Dalton as it sounds like they are battling for rebounds tonight, JMac and Josh doing what they do and busting their asses.

Taking over in the 2nd OT that is for sure, JMac with 23 points in the game and we're up by 4. These refs seem to give one hell of a long time for continuation on fouls.

Game over, Mac came up big we needed someone and we got someone to step up but it was way to late we needed him to step up in the first half.

I was shocked to see that the Cowboys outrebounded the Cougars 47-44. Unfortunately the Pokes committed a season-high 21 turnovers. Poor ball security cost them big time in this one. I do think the way the kids fought back from being down 15 at one point, and the fact they had 47 boards gives me hope for the future. Once again, Adams was a stud.

I'm shocked about the rebounding, too. It seems like we give up offensive rebounds at critical times.

Definitely can attribute turnovers to being the biggest factor in these last 2 losses. Was noted that JJ was sick or something so didn't play much last night, but the bigger story to me was that Herndon only played 10 minutes, didn't score and had 1 rebound. Wonder if he was sick as well?

I think it seems like, other than these two games, Mac (or whoever else might fill the #2 guy role) is the real key. We know Josh will be at a high level but he can't win without help. That said, both of these losses, Jason had good games and we still lost so maybe that's not a totally fair thing to say
