Wyoming vs Coastal Carolina Championship Game #3

In 24 hours the Pokes will be the CBI Champions, confetti falling in the AA with 4835 fans celebrating. This is the start of something great for Wyoming and I certainly hope the locals and students show up. We need to play our best game of the year as Coastal Carolina is going to come prepared.

Lets go Pokes, TCU just won the NIT, lets have Wyoming win the CBI. Only six teams are still playing in college basketball and Wyoming is one of them. I hope everyone on this board manifest some good vibes for the Pokes and sets aside any frustration we may have with coaching or the players. Its about the team, the university and the city of Laramie, Believe and we will win.

Have fun with it Laramie and have hometown pride!!! why not we rarely play this time of year anyway!!! GO POKES
 
Did anybody read the article about their head coach Cliff Ellis 30 years ago when he coached at Clemson and we beat them 1986 in the NIT in Laramie to go to NYC and MSG for NIT finals, man that's going back, scary, but that was the team with Fennis, Eric and Co...WOW...I still to this day wish I coulda attended some Fennis games besides the Casper Shootout which needs to be reinstated again!!!!
 
The problem as I see it, is that the Pokes will be cocky and overconfident from the last blowout. Even though the betting spread is 8-1/2 I see a much closer game. Much.

I agree wholeheartly. I remember attending the 1990 Shootout and got to help Jack Nokes keep track of fouls per team.
 
Pokes are feeling it early especially James. I can see how starting Barnes is paying dividends. Looks like a good crowd too.
 
A little home cooking on the reffing but overall a nice continuation of game 2

Only 2 TO's? What's wrong? This is not Poke basketball. Defense held CC to zero 3's? What's wrong? This is not Poke basketball. Well there's always the 2-nd half. Maybe not Poke basketball this half. Let's hope.

What do you mean by this? Probably close to 90% of season tickets weren't claimed by the cut-off time and the lower bowl has been filled in by the general public.

We're flat, and with the loss of Herndon, better use 7220 to our advantage in second half.
