Let's not forget that Burman explicitly outlined the expectations he had for Sawvel when he announced his hiring. He was clear that the expectation was that Sawvel would take the next step forward with the program.
Instead, Sawvel took a massive step backwards - the exact opposite of what Burman so clearly outlined as his expectation. With that being the case, it's unbelievable that Sawvel was even allowed back this year.
I have absolutely zero faith that Sawvel has the ability to get the ship turned around. I expect this season to be very similar to last year, and I would not be surprised in the least if we open with a loss to Akron on the road. If this is the case...Sawvel absolutely must go. If Burman won't/can't do that, then he must go too.
