For the first time in a long time, there is hype around Wyoming football. We must capitalize on it. If we come out and lay an egg vs teams we should beat, this hype will die with Josh Allen leaving. If we can somehow beat Iowa or Oregon, we better enjoy the ride.

A lot of what might have beens, but I sure wish Hill was here.

Yuuup. Like I've said, 7-5 or 8-4 isn't bad...but with the iron being this hot, Wyo needs to shoot for the stars.

Roullier is who I really wish were still around. We had some real trouble protecting Josh late last year and we lost our best OL. I am not getting my hopes up too high simply because I do not expect the protection to be very good this year

So we lose some key players....who didn't? We lost key players last year too. We still return 5 guys who have started on the Oline. And I think we will be fine at running back. Bohl is pretty high on Milo Hall.

We will not be an easy opponent this year.

Go Pokes!!

I think you're putting too much stock into one player.

Agreed. Everyone acts like were the only team in the NCAA who lost key players. Bohl made the comment earlier this week that this is the best team, talent wise, that he's had in Laramie. I think we will be just fine. This year should be memorable as any in recent history!

Chase was a great player for Wyoming. I'll bet our offensive line is markedly better this season than it was last season with all the hogs we have coming in.

Our line is going to be stacked and deep. I don't think the loss of Chase will hurt us as much as some people think.

Gavin Rush and Patrick Arnold will hold their own in comparison and the rest of the line will be better at every position.

Bring it on, we shall see, excited about going to Iowa tho...but usually high expecations usually means bigger crashes, sure as hell hope I'm wrong. Pokes let's play Cowboy Football huh!!!

Exactly. Yes Chase was a very good player and a key to our offensive line but unlike years past we have depth and talent to where it's not as big of an issue as before. We are in a much better position to absorb a blow like that.

I just don't see the depth and talent everyone else seems to. Nearly 1/3 of last year's freshman class isn't even on campus anymore. That is really scary for a program who does not recruit at a high level.

1/3 of that recruiting class being gone is a blessing. That was the 2-10 recruiting class, and probably Bohls weakest recruiting class at Wyoming.

Arnold, Webb and Rush will be starters for the next 3-4 years. Jackson, Cummins and Wallace are the tackles and right guard. Then schwab, Jolley etc after that. I think we're pretty deep on line with good recruits under them

Add in the guard recruit from Minnesota. He had a big ten offer that fell through and is likely our highest rated recruit. Depth is developing everywhere minus linebacker.

Actually I read in a recent article he earned his Big 10 offer back once his eligibility got figured out, and still chose us over Minnesota. Pretty cool to see!
