Ok so then why not sell your student ID along with the ticket? I would just charge the price of the ticket+the cost of ID replacement or have that person slide your ID card back through the fence after they are inside. The ticket workers don't actually look at the picture...
That might be fine if you actually know the person. But you'd have to be an idiot to give your ID to a stranger.
As long as you don't have any campus money on it what would it matter? Just report it lost and get a new one. What could anyone do with a student id?
You gotta be kidding? For starters, just fact that someone else has it is a problem. Maybe on their way out they smash a car window and throw it in or drop it. The the police are asking why you were there. Maybe the guy gets in a fender bender. Tells the police he lost his DL but gives the cop the ID (Very similar thing happened to a friend). Second, I have no idea what info is stored on those. Third, just matching the name and photo give an id thief a head start. A simple search will reveal several possible DOB and it will be easy for them to match one to the owner of the card. So then they have the photo, the name, the address, and date of birth. Use a phony SSN and they are opening accounts in the student's name. All just to make a few bucks selling the ticket?
