Wyoming Cowboys in the Pros

Falcons must have just realized how fricking god awful Joey Harrington is.. Chris Redman isn't much better!
 
I went to the Carolina Panthers Vs. Tampa Bay Bucs in Charlotte yesterday to watch Patrick Chukwurah. He had a good game, especially considering how many plays he was on the field. I don't see why they don't play him more. I actually ran into another Pokes fan from Cheyenne at the game. Random. ....
 
My understanding was that Patrick was injured and wouldn't be playing until later in the season. Maybe he is recovering quickly but they don't want to stress the injury. I believe that he was positioned to be a starter.

You guys are right. As soon as my dumbass posted that, I realized that he had that MCL problem the first couple weeks. I sat in row one right behind the bench and I gotta say, he didn't look injured. He looks even faster and more cut than he was when he was a Poke.
 
Malcolm Floyd got some camera time today against Denver.. laid a pretty good block for a long Michael Turner run, but you can definitely tell that SD doesn't use a lot of WR passing.
 
So I'm compiling a list for a new page.. all Wyoming Cowboys in the pros.. football (NFL, CFL, Arena, AF2), basketball.. doesn't matter.. just who's out there. Post 'em if ya know 'em! I've got a pretty good list going so far, but I know there's more out there!!

The only one I know of in the CFL is Sean Fleming with Edmonton. Been there since 1992 or 93.

Theo Ratliff and one other guy (last name is Williams) are the only UW guys in the NBA.
 
Couldn't find Fleming or Williams.. but I have Ratliff on the list. I added Jason Straight (Europe) this morning.

Just checked wikipedia and the official Edmonton Eskimos website and it looks like Sean retired.
 
It's confirmed. Sean Fleming DID retire after the 2007 season. Been there for, what, 15 years. He needs the rest.
 
That's a pretty good career for anyone. Good for him. After a quick look this morning, Hanna Zavecz did not get drafted in the WNBA.

He was popular with Edmonton fans.
 
Hanna Zavecz signed with an Australian team this last week.

Aaron Elling is kicking for the Raiders at the moment, but likely will not beat out Janikowski.
 
I was in Baltimore on Thursday, and Friday this week and saw that the Ravens picked up Bramlet. He has a chance to make it since they have no QB's right now..
